Volunteers Needed

Hard work but so rewarding!

Our Shelter is occupied by several different species of native wildlife, (though primarily macropods) and we need to build a reliable team of wildlife volunteers.

If you are local, enthusiastic, caring, fit, hardworking and interested in animal welfare, please consider donating your time as an Our Haven Volunteer.

The work is hard, but the love returned by the animals knows no limits. You will become an integral part of our rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife. You will have new skills for your resume and Our Haven can provide you with a character and work reference.

Please apply with a letter of interest telling us about yourself, your interests and experience, (it’s okay if you don’t have experience with wildlife as we will train, we want to know your background).

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for hands-on experience with our native wildlife!

Send via direct message to our Facebook page or go to Contact Us here on our website.

At Our Haven Wildlife Shelter, we do our best to physically look after as many kangaroos as we possibly can, it’s exhausting and financially overwhelming - but this is our calling.

Thank you for your love and support!
