Not Once but Twice!

Animal Planet’s - The Dodo Heroes Series reached out wanting to include a feature documentary about Theresa, Scruff and the beautiful work that they do rescuing, raising and releasing orphaned kangaroos. The show aired in 2019 when they were still living on a small block of land. It is the story of how Our Haven Wildlife shelter came to be.

You can stream the show on Apple TV, Discovery Plus and Prime Video.

In 2024 Big Wave TV came to Gippsland to include Our Haven Wildlife Shelter in their new series My Best Friend’s and Animal - Love Nature Series 2024. The six part series is available to watch on Sky UK and on @lovenature platforms worldwide.

Kelly Ryner is a Wildlife Conservation Artist living on property south of Cobargo Village in NSW. She is a licensed Macropod Carer in NSW and all proceeds from her Art & Books are used to care for wildlife. A small percentage is used to look after wildlife on her property while the rest is donated to small wildlife shelters and sanctuaries.
